The HAN Formula Student team is a non-profit educational organisation. The students that are part of the team are spending a lot of their free time on designing and building the HFS-05. Many parts that are designed by our team members are produced by our partners but not everything will be sponsored. Besides the partners of the HAN Formula Student team that are supporting us, the project is dependent on your support. Many team members themselves, their families, their teacher s and interested people are supporting the team already, now it is your turn to become part of the crowd! The coutdown for the reveal of the HFS-04 started but what is the reveal about? The reveal day is on 27th June at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. On this day we finally present the racecar the HAN Formula Student team worked on in the past academic year at the HAN University of Applied Sciences. It is the one day where everybody is focussed on and where the work and the creativity of every team member is represented by the complete HFS-04 car. Every year the reveal day is the first goal on the way to taking part in Formula Student events. Although the day had to be slightly rescheduled, the team is in time with the parts and the organisation of the production. Check out the countdown on our home page! The steps to the HFS-04 car are getting bigger and bigger. Since production has started during the last weeks and parts have been ordered, the results of the past half year of work are now here for all to see. The wheels are here (with tyres on the way), and team is expecting a “second Christmas” as parts from our partners continue to roll in! We are also glad to announce that Roteg Racing B. The first milestone on the way to the HFS-04 is set. The research period is over and now the progression phase starts. To update the whole team about the individual progress, every department member presented the results of their own research and their future plans for the project. Now every team member knows exactly what the other departments are working on and the collaboration between the departments can start. It is necessary to communicate between departments due to parts of the car being comprised of work by the input of several departments. This includes the adjustment of dimensions and spacing for the different parts. Communication is the key to achieve this and to assure that the different parts of the car mate in the end. The Technical Committee, a board of former HAN Formula Student members, gave their advice on the technical parts of the presentations. The team members were able to ask questions and to clear up problems based on their own technical research. This is one of the ways we assure to increase the level of our work every year.
